LevelBlue's Ackerman and Kapur warn of stock manipulation as threat actors recycle old breach data

Threat actors are claiming breaches that never happened and recycling previously disclosed data to trigger full incident response protocols at companies that were never compromised, in an approach that may be a deliberate attempt to move publicly traded stock prices, according to Devon Ackerman and Ashim Kapur of LevelBlue.
