Cyber business interruption (BI) disputes are intensifying not at the point of breach but weeks later when insureds discover salaried IT teams working overtime, incident responder discretionary bonuses and internal resource reallocation costs fall outside coverage, Johnson Kendall Johnson cyber practice leader Alexandra Bretschneider said.
