SRG's MX adds Miller's Ross as CUO

Specialist Risk Group (SRG) has appointed Neil ​Ross as CUO of ‌its underwriting arm MX, the London-headquartered intermediary said on Tuesday.

Ross will ​join the company in ​this newly created role later this ⁠year after fulfilling his ​existing contractual obligations. Ross will ​join MX from Miller, where he is CUO.

In his new role, Ross ​will be responsible for underwriting ​strategy, portfolio performance, insurer engagement and ‌the ⁠development of MX's specialist underwriting proposition.

He has over two decades of underwriting and portfolio management ​experience across ​the ⁠specialty insurance market.

Prior to Miller, he held several ​senior leadership positions at ​Axis, ⁠where he worked for almost 15 years, latterly as head ⁠of ​retail for global ​markets. He also worked at CNA Insurance ​for more than six years.
