Aviva posts 9M CR of 96.3% as claims rise in UK and Canada

Aviva has reported a general insurance (GI) combined ratio of 96.3 percent for the first nine months of 2023 – a 2.1 percentage point deterioration year on year – which the London-listed carrier said reflected the impact of Q3 wildfires and other adverse weather in Canada.
