Oregon fire season starts early with Lloyd’s firefighting policy secured

The earliest start to wildfire season in more than 50 years has been declared in parts of Oregon just weeks after the state renewed its Lloyd’s-placed firefighting insurance policy and amid warnings that the western US will see an above-average area of land scorched in 2021.
