US MGA Strata looks to restructure after reinsurers pull support
Strata Underwriting Managers says it is working on a new de-risked habitational program after telling distribution partners it is non-renewing accounts on its existing offering after failing to secure sufficient capacity at its 15 March renewal amid “extreme conditions” in the property cat reinsurance market, The Insurer can reveal.
