Universal swings to $87.7mn Q3 operating loss after $111mn retained Ian hit
Universal Insurance Holdings closed out 2022’s third quarter by swinging to an adjusted operating loss of $87.7mn after its combined ratio jumped 40.7 points to 139.2 percent as it absorbed the impact of Hurricane Ian.
