Universal places reinsurance program at lower DPE percentage than last year
Florida carrier Universal Insurance Holdings has completed its 2023-2024 reinsurance program for its subsidiaries with a reduced top end of the first event reinsurance tower of $2.83bn, reflecting lower policy count, while the cost as a percentage of direct premiums earned is lower than last year.
