United Fire estimates $27mn of Q3 cat losses
United Fire Group has estimated that its third quarter 2022 results will include pre-tax catastrophe losses of $27mn, with losses from Hurricane Ian of $14mn, with the Iowa-based insurer also announcing it was impacted by inflationary pressures in the quarter.
