UK government awards Linklaters lucrative contract as fears grow over Pool Re future

“Magic Circle” law firm Linklaters has won a £395,000 government contract in a sign Downing Street is planning to implement controversial changes to the country’s terrorism mutual, Pool Re, which will be seen as a negative for both UK property insurers and businesses.
