TWIA recommends 5% residential and 8% commercial rate increases
The Texas Windstorm Insurance Association’s actuarial and underwriting committee has recommended that the board approve a filing to increase 2024 residential and commercial policy rates by 5 percent and 8 percent respectively, significantly below what is determined to be actuarially adequate.
