Travelers ups limit on cat XoL to $1.8bn but agg cover shrinks after full 2021 collection

Travelers has renewed its corporate cat excess-of-loss treaty to cover 90 percent of $2.0bn xs $3.0bn, up from 75 percent on the expiring deal, but its underlying aggregate protection has lower limit of $225mn for 2022 and a higher per event deductible, after the insurer collected the full $350mn of limit from reinsurers in 2021.
