Travelers reports strong earnings beat as UW and investment results improve
Travelers has kicked off the US P&C insurer Q2 reporting season with a strong earnings beat as core income reached $879mn driven by improved underwriting results that benefited from lower cat losses along with reserve releases and significantly higher investment income.
