Texas surplus lines premium up 36% in April to new record, Florida up 18%
The Surplus Lines Stamping Office of Texas (SLTX) recorded a 36 percent year-over-year increase in premium in April to set a new record of $1.02bn, while the Florida Surplus Lines Service Office reported an 18 percent increase to $1.06bn.
