Swiss Re forecasts 100% 2023 US P&C sector CR despite Q1 UW loss
Swiss Re in its latest US P&C outlook has forecast a combined ratio for the sector of 100 percent in 2023 and 98.5 percent in 2024, despite a first quarter in which catastrophes pushed the combined ratio to nearly 103 percent and loss costs grew faster than premiums.
