Swift: Hartford “particularly pleased” by property lines growth
The Hartford chairman and CEO Chris Swift has said his company capitalised on favourable property insurance market conditions in the first quarter, with 18 percent growth in this business as pricing rose by 12 percent in standard commercial, 24 percent in wholesale and 30 percent in reinsurance.
