Survey: Lawyers’ PL insurers face rising claims costs despite stable frequency

US lawyers’ professional liability insurers are facing rising claim costs despite most seeing stable frequency, according to a survey by broker Ames & Gough that showed 70 percent of those surveyed had paid a claim in the past two years of more than $50mn.
