SiriusPoint “acknowledges” Third Point interest in takeover as shares jump 10%
Bermuda (re)insurer SiriusPoint acknowledged activist investor Dan Loeb and his hedge fund Third Point’s interest in a potential take- private deal after markets closed on Wednesday, stating that it would “carefully evaluate” any proposal and welcomed dialogue with investors.
