RPS adds Chauhan from Hylant as casualty EVP

Aashish “AC” Chauhan has joined the Chicago office of the brokerage division of Risk Placement Services (RPS) as executive vice president of casualty.

Chauhan, who previously worked at Hylant for almost two years, will support large casualty growth across the Midwest in this new role. He reports to John Head, president of national brokerage at RPS, which is the E&S wholesale broker and MGA subsidiary of Arthur J Gallagher.

At Hylant Chauhan had served as director of transactional risk, a role in which he managed M&A-related risk and insurance services such as due diligence, representations and warranties insurance and post-transaction risk management strategies.

He has also held senior-level positions at Marsh and Aon.
