Rochester diocese’s policies to be assigned to trust under abuse settlement
The Diocese of Rochester has agreed a settlement with sexual abuse survivors under which it will pay $55mn and assign its insurance rights to a trust that will seek a higher payout from insurers than the previously announced $108mn agreement.
