RLI estimates net Ian losses of up to $42mn
RLI Corp has estimated pre-tax net catastrophe losses from Hurricane Ian of $38mn to $42mn, to be reflected in its third quarter results, with the US specialty insurer having $625mn of limit for wind in its catastrophe reinsurance program this year.
