Reagan: Private agency multiples rose in 2022 while public broker valuations fell
Public brokers produced strong results in 2022 although their valuations declined during the year in contrast to those of small private agencies, which continued to rise despite a slowdown in deal volume amid higher interest rates, according to US M&A advisor Reagan Consulting.
