PwC: US insurance M&A volume drops in 2023 but three mega deals push overall value up
The period from mid-November 2022 to mid-May 2023 saw 194 announced US insurance M&A deals representing over $7bn in deal value, compared with 263 transactions with a value of $2bn in the preceding six months, according to new figures from PwC.
