Progressive’s Pratt confident on 2023 reinsurance despite Ian losses
Progressive is confident it can still source the reinsurance it will need next year even though it expects to pass on $1.2bn of Hurricane Ian losses to its counterparties, and while coverage costs will likely increase property general manager David Pratt believes the carrier’s transparency ensures it will receive favorable pricing.
