PCS increases Ian estimate to $47.4bn as $50bn ILW triggers near
Property Claim Services (PCS) has increased its headline estimate for Hurricane Ian to $47.4bn, with an additional $5.5bn in loss adjustment expenses (LAE) in contrast to a number of signs that claims experience may be lower than originally feared when the Cat 4 storm struck Florida in October.
