NY Congresswoman asks CNA to explain ransomware payment

Representative Carolyn Maloney has written to CNA and Colonial Pipeline asking them to provide information and documents about their recent payments of ransoms following cyberattacks, with the lawmaker stating she is concerned about decisions that set a “dangerous precedent”.
