NAIC outlines concerns with S&P’s methodology changes amid Congressional interest

The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) has written to US lawmakers noting recent Congressional interest in S&P Global Ratings’ proposed changes to its methodology for assessing (re)insurers, with the association “troubled” by some aspects of how investments would be treated.
