Munich Re flags “significant short-term impact” of Covid-19; reiterates 2020 profit miss
German reinsurance giant Munich Re has restated that it will not meet its 2020 profit guidance – which it withdrew at the end of March – with ongoing uncertainty surrounding Covid-19 meaning the carrier will not issue an updated guidance for the year.
