MarshBerry: Percentage of US broker M&A involving specialty firms up to 24% in 9M ’23

There were 454 announced insurance brokerage M&A transactions in the US in the first nine months of 2023, according to MarshBerry, while “valuations are still as high as they’ve ever been for top-performing firms” and the percentage of deals involving specialty firms as targets is up.
