Mapfre Re Q1 net profit slips ~9% as posts CR of 98.8%
The reinsurance arm of Spanish carrier Mapfre has reported a net result of €33.4mn ($36.7mn) for the first quarter – down nearly 9 percent on the prior-year period – as losses from the Turkish earthquake weighed on the division.
