Mapfre posts net result of €317mn as cat losses bite, P&C CR up to 97.1%
Spanish carrier Mapfre has reported a net result of €317mn for the first half of 2023, marking a year-on-year decline of 6 percent, as a result of higher cat losses estimated to hit its reinsurance arm arising from the Turkey earthquake.
