Mapfre P&C profitability to be hit by inflation and Turkey earthquake claims in Q1: KBW
Mapfre’s first quarter results will likely be negatively impacted by a revision of bodily injury claims compensation in Spain as well as provisions for the Turkey earthquake, with KBW analysts warning the quarter will “not be pretty” for the Madrid headquartered (re)insurer.
