Louisiana insurers report 25% loss creep on 2020 storms in Q1

Insurers have increased their loss estimates for the trio of hurricanes that struck Louisiana by 25 percent from $7.7bn to $9.6bn from the end of last year to 31 March 2021, according to the state’s insurance commissioner Jim Donelon.
