LDI approves “extremely painful” 63% Louisiana Citizens rate hike
The Louisiana Department of Insurance (LDI) has approved state-backed insurer Louisiana Citizens’ request for a 63 percent rate increase on its residential property insurance policies, with the state’s insurance commissioner expressing hope that an incentive fund will attract new carriers.
