KKR makes $1bn investment in USI to become broker’s largest shareholder

KKR announced Monday a new $1bn investment in USI - the 10th largest US intermediary by revenue - in a deal where the private equity giant will become the broker’s largest shareholder by buying up more than half of Canadian pension fund CDPQ’s shares.
