KCC: Elliott to be $5.4bn industry loss with “vast majority” driven by freeze
Modelling firm Karen Clark & Company estimates that Winter Storm Elliott will cost the insurance industry $5.4bn in claims, with the “vast majority” of losses being driven by freezing temperatures and over 50 percent coming from the commercial lines segment.
