Jefferies: Reinsurance prices to rise more than insurance prices after 2021 cats
Analysts at Jefferies have projected that reinsurance pricing will increase more than insurance pricing this year as a result of reinsurers taking a high proportion of losses from Hurricane Ida and the European summer floods, with one notable trend in recent months being loss creep from these events.
