IRB Brasil Re reports R$661mn underwriting loss following Brazil drought

IRB Brasil Re has posted an underwriting loss of R$661mn ($119.4mn) for the second quarter of 2022 with its combined ratio soaring to 154.3 percent on the back of drought losses within its agriculture book.
