Insurers welcome “most consequential” Florida tort reform package in decades

Industry trade groups have praised Florida governor Ron DeSantis’s proposed insurance reforms, calling them “comprehensive” and the “most consequential in decades”, with the legislation, coupled with the sweeping property insurance reform passed in December, viewed as having the potential to bring down insurance costs.
