Insured losses from Japan earthquake to be manageable: AM Best
The negative earnings impact from the 7.6 magnitude earthquake that hit Japan on New Year’s Day is expected to be “manageable” for major domestic non-life insurers relative to the sector’s net profit, a new report by AM Best has said.
