Ides withdraws Safety board nominees, says “unaddressed opportunities” remain
Ides Capital Management has withdrawn its board nominees for Safety Insurance Group in response to “significant changes” since it launched an activist campaign against the regional property casualty insurer, although the investment advisor suggested there “remain many unaddressed opportunities”.
