Horace Mann share price drops 8% on Q4 P&C loss forecast
Investors sent Horace Mann Educators Corporation’s share price down over 8 percent on Wednesday morning after the Illinois-based carrier forecast a combination of reserve strengthening and exposure to Winter Storm Elliott will push its P&C business to an estimated after-tax loss of between $25mn to $29mn for Q4 2022.
