French hailstorm losses estimated at €3.9bn with reinsurers set to face payouts
Insurers have received almost one million claims related to the bad weather that has affected much of France since the end of May, with the industry expected to pay an estimated €3.9bn ($3.9bn) in compensation, according to France Assureurs.
