Former Root CMO BC Silver pleads guilty to charges in $10.2mn embezzlement scheme
Root’s former chief marketing officer BC Silver has pled guilty to one count each of wire fraud and contempt of court for his role in embezzling $10.2mn from the auto insurtech and using the stolen funds to buy a yacht, amphibious plane, luxury vehicle, and other expenditures.
