Flood Re finally succumbs to ALB status 6+ years after its launch
UK state-backed reinsurance scheme Flood Re has finally been classified as an arm’s length body (ALB) by the British government after its launch more than six years ago, a move that imposes onerous new requirements on the carrier around executive remuneration and public procurement.
