DBRS: Canadian wildfire losses “manageable” but will pressure P&C results
Canadian P&C carriers should be able to absorb losses from the wildfires raging in the country with total market exposure less than from 2016’s Fort McMurray blaze, but Q2 and Q3 results “are likely to come under pressure”, according to DBRS Morningstar.
