Court dismisses $71mn marine claim against Lloyd’s underwriters
In a judgment that will be welcomed by the international marine insurance market, the UK’s Commercial Court has rejected a $71mn claim from Greek bank Piraeus which arose from the detention of a vessel in Venezuela in August 2015.
