Canopius 4444 swings to £78mn loss as GWP contracts 25%

Canopius’ flagship Syndicate 4444 fell to a loss of £78.1mn ($107.6mn) in 2020 as it posted a combined ratio of 112.3 percent, marking its fifth consecutive annual underwriting loss.
