Berkshire Hathaway shows interest in writing up to $1bn of Florida Citizens program
Berkshire Hathaway is continuing to display its renewed appetite for Florida catastrophe risk with an expression of interest to write as much as a $1bn line high up on the proposed $4.2bn of new private risk transfer that Citizens is seeking authorization to buy at its board meeting next week, The Insurer understands.
