Belgian regulator ups pressure on insurer dividends

Belgium’s central bank will not allow insurers with a solvency ratio of less than 150 percent to pay dividends to their shareholders or buy back shares during 2021 as the regulator ups pressure on firms to maintain solvency capital during the coronavirus pandemic.
